MARIANNE KILKENNY
An Aging in Community advocate and consultant committed to promoting Women Living In Community in multigenerational and nongender specific settings.
MARIANNE KILKENNY is a consultant, facilitator, and educator who works with groups and individuals that are looking for alternative models for living in our communities as we age. She is Founder of the Women Living in Community Network and, co-creator of the Women Living in Community Conferences. She speaks on subjects ranging from Aging in Community, Creating Community for the 2nd Half of Life, and advocates community as an answer to possible “Bag Lady Fear Syndrome (BLFS)”.
She lives a collaborative house in Asheville, North Carolina and is actively pursuing the women’s community movement for herself and others and keeping a sense of humor throughout the journey.
Marianne ‘s background as Human Resources Executive in Silicon Valley and business owner equips her to ”nudge” along others who may be looking for some creative ways to move forward in a healthy way to live in community as we age.
